I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Copenhagen, working in the Human-Centred Computing section on Fabrication under the supervision of Daniel Ashbrook. I hold a PhD in Computer Science from Dartmouth College, where I conducted research at the intersection of graphics and computational fabrication under the supervision of Emily Whiting. My research allows more people to express their creativity through computer assisted design. I use domain expertise and diverse materials to computationally fabricate artistic artifacts. I am also focused on using knowledge about human perception and user studies to make 3D-shape depiction more accessible to people with blindness. I have worked on projects ranging from tactile and watercolor images, to shape modeling and 3D-printing of reconfigurable functional objects. During my PhD I interned in Autodesk research in Toronto where I designed musical instruments. I was born and lived in Athens where I received my B.S. in Informatics at the Athens University of Economics and Business.
